Flowers for Ita
All of these photos were shot on Portra 400, 35mm film using a Nikon F100. These rolls were developed at the Photo Vision Lab. I shot these photos at midday when the sun was brightest in the sky. I’ve found that Portra 400 worked extremely well with giving consistently nice skin tones throughout various light situations, though at times too much overexposure seems to create a bit of a yellow tint. I loved getting to learn more about the light and how it reacts differently with film than digital. Some photos look a bit hazy from how bright the sun was shining but overall I think all the added light helped to make some beautiful photos.
I’m so grateful to Ita and Lui for modeling for me.
I love you both.
